DESCRIPTION:Born on the bayou of Louisiana and raised in Minnesota\, Shane landed in Wisconsin with a guitar and a dream.\n\nIn July 2025\, he launched The Eau Claire Guitar Academy — voted the number one music lesson studio in the Chippewa Valley in 2025 by Volume One in its first year of operation.\n\nBut Shane isn’t just a teacher. He’s a fixture of Eau Claire’s live music scene. A weekly regular at the Lakely. A man who befriended every local musician he met and jammed with them simply for the love of it. His influences run from Bob Dylan to Pink Floyd to Led Zeppelin\, and his sound — a fusion of folk\, existential\, and romantic rock — belongs to no one but him. Over 70 original songs on Spotify and counting.\n\nMany of those musicians he’s befriended over the years will join him on stage. Bob Wynkoop on mandolin\, Jim Nelson on bass and John Utphall on violin and keys\, just to name a few.\nThis is Shane’s music. Original. Unboxed. Uncategorizable.\n\nHe doesn’t fit a mold. He makes his own.
