LIVE MUSIC: Scott Burton Trio

A recent transplant to Eau Claire, Burton brings his experiences from his hometown of Richmond, Virginia to EC! The trio plays a carefully curated combination of Burton originals, obscure movie themes, standards, and a few tunes by Richmond composers. One minute you might hear a somber theme from Nora Orlandi, and the next an upbeat samba by Barney Kessel followed by a Stelvio Cipriani theme from a Jaws rip-off movie about a giant alligator—-you also don’t have to know what any of that means!
