WANDERING SPIRITS: Craft Your Own Bar

Do you enjoy craft cocktails as much as us? Well then, you most likely want to be able to make them at your own house for those moments when you want something creative and delicious to drink but The Lakely just isn’t open. We’re here to help.
Join us on June 14th as Lakely Manager Jorja Vradenburg and staff guide you through the process of setting up a home bar so that you can mix up amazing cocktails just like the pros for your own friends and family. We’ll be covering all the basic tools that one would need get started, with some tips and advice on which tools work the best, which ones are most cost-effective and which ones are just plain unnecessary. Then we’ll discuss the basic spirits that you’ll want in your new creation station, breaking things down into what bottles you’ll want right off the bat versus the ones you can gradually add into your collection. We’ll also do a brief overview of the best kinds of glassware to use, as well as the numerous options available for good ice.
Don’t have a bar at your house? That’s okay…neither do most of us. The point is to start getting the right tools and spirits in place so that you can bring your entertaining game to the next level. Who knows? You may just become popular enough in your circle of friends that building an actual bar will be warranted! All of this learning will inevitably make you fiercely thirsty, so yes, we will provide something to sip on throughout the class to quench both your physical thirst, as well as your thirst for knowledge! 😉 Class begins at 7:00pm and lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
