Wandering Spirits: Vikre Distillery

Join us for a very special evening with one of the Midwest’s amazing spirits producers – Vikre Distillery! Established in Duluth, MN, in 2012, Vikre is an incredible spirits producer who seemingly pride themselves on distilling the very essence of Lake Superior and the Upper Midwest into everything that they make. With gins that take a northern twist by incorporating flavors like spruce and cedar, aquavits that harken the soul of Scandinavia, truly flavorful vodka and whiskeys with a firm regional identity, Vikre is leading the charge of defining what craft spirits should look like in our own backyard.
Abigail Mlinar of Vikre will be on hand to lead a tasting of their various spirits, as well as discussing some of the philosophy and history of the distillery. The Lakely bar staff will also kick in, demonstrating (and sampling) the creation of a couple original cocktails made with Vikre products. So don’t miss this opportunity to learn about this one-of-a-kind craft distillery and sample through their unbelievable lineup. Class begins at 7:00pm and lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
