Fireside Tunes is meant to capture the essence of some of our most-loved experiences – spending the evening with folks we care about, listening to live music in a down-to-earth, low-key (but high-vibe) atmosphere, sipping craft drinks, and sharing a love of music – all around our stone-cut fire pits (weather permitting) or inside The Lakely’s cozy lounge.

At Fireside Tunes, you can expect an emotive musical experience of local, regional, and occasionally touring artists with a strong lean towards acoustic, folk, and Americana styles. Fireside Tunes offers listeners a well-rounded sound, with occasional notes of indie, rock, and other musical genres.

The Oxbow is stepping up to help revive the citywide April Fools’ Day Pillow Fight in downtown Eau Claire! The “Five Minutes of Feathery Fury” is a short but lively celebration of foolishness, by which we mean a giant, five-minute pillow fight with the entire city invited. To participate, people can just show up in our courtyard (a little early) with a nice, fluffy pillow. A whistle will blow. That’s the signal to start a-swinging (or people can just come to watch the fun, and many do). So put it on your calendar – then grab a pillow, some friends, and get ready for some soft, feathery combat!
