Robert Baca is the director of Jazz Studies at UW-Eau Claire and has toured with Buddy Rich, Frank Sinatria, Blood Sweat and Tears, and many others, as well as being a mainstay player in the twin cities for 38 years. Alec Baca is a 2013 graduate of Memorial High School, now a highly active trumpet player and bandleader in the Milwaukee jazz scene. This father and son duo are joined by Eau Claire favorites Zach Luginbill on piano, Jeremy Boettcher on Bass, and Fletcher Myhre on drum set featuring a tribute to the music of jazz trumpet legend Roy Hargrove.
Garden Party is a folk rock trio who originally met as players in the Ukulele Club of Eau Claire, finding that their musical ties went deep. The members include Tom Lockhart on bass, Teresa Jolivette on ukulele and Marjorie Craemer on Guitar, with sweet harmony on every song. Folk, pop and American are some of the genres you will hear from this warm acoustic combo.
Evan Walton, a singer-songwriter, originally hailing from Minneapolis, and a recent graduate of the illustrious Berklee College of Music, brings a rich blend of skills to the stage. With roots as a multi-instrumentalist and a performance history that spans the nation, Evan’s musical prowess finds himself as a notable figure in the Eau Claire based group Once More, Autumn, adding a layer of indie charm to his vibrant musical persona.

Luke Callen is a songwriter and singer based in the Upper-Midwest – who typically performs original music inspired by the natural world. He has toured internationally and released two full length albums of his own. This evening he will be performing a set of original instrumentals – alongside folk and blues standards – as well as some Middle Western improvised sound scapes. He will be accompanied by a handful of creatives from the region – for a truly unique evening.
