Evan Walton, a singer-songwriter, originally hailing from Minneapolis, and a recent graduate of the illustrious Berklee College of Music, brings a rich blend of skills to the stage. With roots as a multi-instrumentalist and a performance history that spans the nation, Evan’s musical prowess finds himself as a notable figure in the Eau Claire based group Once More, Autumn, adding a layer of indie charm to his vibrant musical persona.
Sharing the stage with Evan is none other than his father, Dale Walton, an Ohio native whose rock and roll legacy spans over four incredible decades. With almost 10 albums under his belt and extensive U.S. tours, Dale has left an indelible mark on the music world. He’s even shared stages with legends like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rare Earth, and Dr. John.
Together, these two promise a night of music that bridges generations. Expect alluring solo performances by both artists, each showcasing their unique styles, and witness the magic that unfolds when they collaborate on stage together.
Josh Gallagher attended the Berklee College of Music on a full ride scholarship and played in the Brubeck Institute Jazz Sextet. After living in New York City, he returned to Eau Claire. Catch this masterful and swinging pianist in action leading his group.
Renowned bassist Jeremy Boetcher swiftly rose to prominence, captivating audiences nationwide with his remarkable versatility and musical prowess. In recent years, he has graced the global stage, touring extensively with icons like Sean Carey and Richard Johnson. Notably, his exceptional talents have been showcased in prestigious venues such as Jazz At Lincoln Center Doha and Jazz At Lincoln Center Shanghai.
Vocalist Kat Sherman has been on the Eau Claire music scene for more than two decades, performing in a wide variety of styles and venues, and maintaining an active teaching studio in piano and voice. Having formed the successful jazz trio, Kat and the Hats, she continues her exploration of the jazz idiom in a duo with Paul Hecht.
Paul Hecht brings a wide musical curiosity and a commitment to jazz traditions in the piano/keyboard trio format. Hecht trained with musicians from Detroit and Chicago and now divides his time between Chicago and Eau Claire.
