Dave will be playing a wide variety of folk songs, original tunes and covers carefully crafted from thousands of custom sounds collected and composed on a Roland workstation keyboard. Some of those songs and sounds will be new to folks in this area, and they don’t exist anywhere else.

Other musicians will be joining on guitar and saxophone for an evening of smooth sounds ranging from folk songs and Americana to rock ballads from Bob Dylan, elaborate versions of Pink Floyd songs and The Cars along with classic country from Johnny Cash, The Little River Band and many others, plus a variety of original songs played on custom sounds created to set the mood for each song.

Dave is planning a relaxing and interesting musical experience in surround sound for the evening. Stop on by.

Aaron Schye (A.A.Ron) is a multi-instrumental, folk-rock musician from Eau Claire, WI known for his eclectic sets, high-energy performances, and charismatic stage presence. From soothing acoustic sweetness to screaming metal solos he is unafraid to challenge the status quo with his “be yourself” attitude towards musicianship. Aaron began his pursuit writing unique acoustic arrangements of classic songs from across the musical spectrum. In time he began composing his own music drawing inspiration from bands like Death Cab for Cutie, Tenacious D, and Iron Maiden. Strongly influenced by his time spent in the mountains of Montana, his music features elements of storytelling, adventure, comedy, tragedy, hope, and horror bridging the genres of folk, progressive rock, and symphonic metal.

Born on the bayou of Louisiana and raised in Minnesota, Shane landed in Wisconsin with a guitar and a dream.
In July 2025, he launched The Eau Claire Guitar Academy — voted the number one music lesson studio in the Chippewa Valley in 2025 by Volume One in its first year of operation.
But Shane isn’t just a teacher. He’s a fixture of Eau Claire’s live music scene. A weekly regular at the Lakely. A man who befriended every local musician he met and jammed with them simply for the love of it. His influences run from Bob Dylan to Pink Floyd to Led Zeppelin, and his sound — a fusion of folk, existential, and romantic rock — belongs to no one but him. Over 70 original songs on Spotify and counting.
Many of those musicians he’s befriended over the years will join him on stage. Bob Wynkoop on mandolin, Jim Nelson on bass and John Utphall on violin and keys, just to name a few.
This is Shane’s music. Original. Unboxed. Uncategorizable.
He doesn’t fit a mold. He makes his own.
