Maja will spin some of the most recognizable samples from hip hop and modern jazz, flowing sampled pieces into the creatively reworked masterpieces from today’s artists. Expect to hear artists such as MF Doom, Lalah Hathaway, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, Thundercat, A Tribe Called Quest, and many more.

DJ Bio: Maja Samec grew up listening to jazz and plays saxophone. They spent time in the Jazz Studies department before becoming a Special Education major at UW-Eau Claire. She is both a visual and musical artist around Eau Claire, and is excited to be featured in this series.

DJ Bio: Luc Hans Larson (they/them) aka westkorea has been performing original music and DJing throughout the Chippewa Valley and beyond for over 6 years, with the likes of TeawhYB, Miles BLVD, and their band Lullaby Language. Their first solo project as westkorea, CRASHING, was released on March 5, 2021.
