Lakely Loves… Klatt Farms Wisconsin

Wednesday, April 13, 2022

It’s been a long time coming, and we’re absolutely thrilled to bring back one of our most-loved signature dinner series events, Lakely Loves…!

On April 27, Chef Luke Bilda and The Lakely team will welcome special guests Sean and Danielle Klatt, for our debut of the series: Lakely Loves… Klatt Farms Wisconsin!

If you’ve joined us for a Lakely Loves dinner event in the past, then you know how incredibly special these evenings are; but for those that have not, read on for a more in-depth peek at the experience, our featured farm, and how to reserve your table…

During these special dinners, our Chef features a specific flavor, ingredient, or theme, and builds a multi-course meal around it. During the two to three hour dinner, our Chef and special guests will welcome attendees, speak about the food in front of them, and share their culinary passion with everyone present.

At this dinner, you’ll get to hear from The Klatt’s, who provide fresh, locally-raised beef to The Lakely, right from their farm in Barron County! Chef Bilda will prepare and serve five special courses, including a dessert, all using Klatt Farms beef — yep, you read that right, dessert using a beef product! Don’t worry, we know it will be good!

The Lakely, and Chef Bilda, passionately support small, local farmers and producers, providing partnerships, growth, and opportunity to many hard-working folks across the region, including Klatt Farms Wisconsin, which operates as a small (but growing!) business, and offers, according to Chef Bilda, “some of the best beef I’ve ever tasted!”

You definitely don’t want to miss this very special evening!

This special dinner is by reservation only!

MORE ABOUT KLATT FARMS WISCONSIN:

We are The Klatts! Sean, Danielle, and Mason, with one little one on the way due in July! We farm on a small family farm located in Barron, Wisconsin. Mason is 3rd generation farmer at only 7 years old! All of us work hard to raise our steers for your consumption! We work with our extended family when they visit, too — nephews, nieces, sisters, brothers, fathers, and mothers from both sides come help whenever we need it!

We supply several restaurants and 100s of families with our beef. We raise all of the forage that our steers eat right here on our farm! We grow our own corn and alfalfa haylage right here on our 120 acres. We pride ourselves on producing a healthy, safe product for the publics consumption. Right now, we process 6 steers per month at a local USDA Federally Inspected butcher and the hope is to be able to expand in the future.
