After over a year-long hiatus throughout the ongoing pandemic, The Oxbow Hotel & The Lakely are thrilled to announce a new date this autumn in our on-going series of events dubbed “Lock Inns,” which are meant to bring fans closer to the music and give them a chance to experience a very exclusive and intimate performance by some of their favorite artists. For this Lock Inn, Justin Vernon and Bon Iver bandmate, Sean Carey, will be coming to The Lakely stage!

This event offers fans of Justin Vernon and Sean Carey a rare opportunity to enjoy an evening curated entirely by their musical, culinary, and cultural sensibilities, from beginning to end. Guests will enjoy a relaxing and very special five-course dinner crafted in collaboration with Chef Luke Bilda, while Vernon and Carey perform live on the stage in The Lakely. Later, they might be joined throughout the night by other yet-to-be-named musical guests from their stable of friends and creative collaborators.

Only a limited number of packages will be sold, making each Lock Inn available to only a select few. We would love for you to be a part of this incredibly special experience!

INTERESTED? HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • The Lock Inn is on the evening of Monday, November 15, 2021
  • Packages will go on-sale on Monday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. CST
  • Only 30 packages are available, and they will sell out rapidly!
  • This experience is only available by purchasing tickets in advance online (tickets are not available over the phone, in person, or at the door).
  • When booking the Lock Inn Package, you must ONLY select one room type per transaction. If you try and purchase multiple room types at the same time, your order WILL NOT go through.
  • Adding a ticket to your cart DOES NOT guarantee that the reservation is yours. Your order is not complete until you reach the confirmation screen after entering payment information.
  • All packages are non-refundable, non-transferable.
  • Sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Packages start at $550 and include one hotel room, dinner and show for two guests (price is before applicable taxes and fees) Note, dinner tables for the show are pre-assigned by our team, and some guests will be seated at a table with another couple, but don’t worry, there’s not a bad seat in the house!
  • All attendees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination and ID before entry to the event is granted. See below for more details.

  • Five-course dinner created by Chef Luke Bilda and his team (vegetarian option available). Note, drinks are not included in the package and must be purchased separately.

COVID-19 POLICY:

Your safety, and the safety of our team and musicians is our number one priority. All guests attending are required to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 prior to entering The Lakely. Upon your arrival, our team will validate vaccination status with a physical vaccination card, a photo of your vaccination card, or a government-provided digital record. A state-issued I.D. will also be required at the time of arrival. If proof of vaccination is not provided, there will be no admittance to the event, regardless of ticket purchase, and no refunds will be made.

Additionally:

All staff are required to wear face coverings.

Guests are asked to wear face coverings indoors while not seated at dinner tables.

This past spring at The Oxbow Hotel, we held the first two in an ongoing series of events dubbed “Lock Inns” meant to bring fans closer to the music and give them a chance to experience a very exclusive, intimate performance by some of their favorite artists. Justin Vernon and Bon Iver bandmate Sean Carey led the way back in April and May at the inaugural Lock Inns, and are back and ready for more in September and November!

Then, during a relaxing and very special six-course dinner crafted in collaboration with Chef Nathan Berg, Vernon and Carey will perform live on the stage in The Lakely. Later, they’ll be joined throughout the night by other yet-to-be-named musical guests from their stable of friends and creative collaborators.

Only 30 packages will be sold for each date, making each Lock Inn available to only a select few. Other package highlights include a limited-edition event poster, morning yoga in The Gallery, brunch from a prix fixe menu, and the opportunity to be a part of an incredibly special experience.
